My trip meter (less than 3 months old) has stopped working, so I thought I might try strava on my iPhone. I'm not entirely convinced on some of my figures though.
Average speed 443.9km/h.
And it is not just the once or twice, 9 out of 10 rides are coming up with something similar. On Wednesday I had over 600km/h .

Have you blamed iOS 6 Maps yet?

Don't know what you've done there, used Strava (Android) as a tracker when my Garmin was off for repair, pretty decent accuracy and certainly nothing like that.

Is there summat you're not switching on? GPS tracking, or sumething like that? Looks like it's getting a reading at the start (poss wifi netowrks) and a reading at the end, but nowt in between... quite amusing to look at though

To be completely honest, I have no idea. (my brother gave me the iPhone trying to get me into the telephone era (I used to work, cycle and live in an area of Surrey that had no mobile phone signal).)
I start the app, start recording a new ride when it says GPS signal good, and when I stop I click finish ride and save. I have done nothing with the ones that have worked http://app.strava.com/activities/29128605 which was the last one to work and the dozens and dozens that have not worked.
