again, I still dont understand what this MTFU actually mean. The translation said is completely meaningless to me, just four words put together that actually dont add up to anything meaningful.
I like the english language and that is completely useless in my book.
Bring back proper english with proper words that one can understand, not this teenage slang that sounds more like baby garbage.

Just recovered from a couple of saddle-sores that have been bothering me for a couple of weeks. Trained in the gym today without any problems so time to get back out.

Another variation is HTFU (Harden The **** Up), which probably makes a bit more sense.

I think this is the only legitimate excuse

Had no choice but to ride 15 miles back home into the teeth of the wind and rain, horrible, but it's done, quick baby wipe for the bike and all is well again.

My Montane Featherlite was perfect for keeping the wind and rain off, and I didn't feel to hot in it either,

Next investment will be some shoe covers for the wet,

I commuted in heavy wind and rain today. Quite invigorating, getting completely soaked. I even took a longer route home. It's times like these I'm glad I ride a cheap bike though. Having to leave a decent bike outside in the rain all day would be heartbreaking.

Keep going and to hell with the conditions. Little and often beats spasmodic big efforts.

I appreciate this is easier to do when based down south but still - a cycle ride in any but the most extreme conditions is preferable to driving or public transport in my book.

Also, if your bike is too up market to expose to bad weather then you need an extra bike.
