I find people riding after dark without lights or anything reflective dangerous and annoying so why not complain?

role models and all that

Apparently she was riding with lights, it is just that they are rather dim, a bit like the 18 people who complained...

I'll admit the advert annoyed me for not having lights...but I'm not one of those 18

while her bicycle had lights on the front and rear in each shot
I couldn't see any lights.....couldn't give a damn about hi-viz/helmet/etc.

yeah but its not real, its like having a cartoon charector riding without lights and reflective gear. How often do you see people cycling in Waitrose? And you cant belame her for all the curiors riding without helemts, lights or relfective gear. I think its silly to complain about it.

people complain about far less and the more something is portrayed as normal the more it becomes accepted

complaint wasn't upheld anyway

Duffy wasn't riding the bike. That was done by a stunt double.

Duffy was sat on a bike which was bolted to a camera trolley.
