Looks are one thing, performance is another. The fact is the lenses won't actually block any UV which means you are potentially putting your eyes at risk for the sake of a few quid!

I'm pretty sure Oakley doesn't have the exclusive on UV lenses...

You and me both, but neither do Oakley fit their glasses with cheapo lenses that are probably not regulated in any way shape or form.

If the OP wants to buy some happy days, if you want to by some double happy days.

my point was compared to my Oakleys my mates look the same,feel the same,are packaged the same and have stood up to plenty of abuse,so I have no real reason to suspect the ones he has purchased are not the same as mine......but Im not on commision so if your not happy with the site.......dont buy any

true - each to their own n all that. To be fair, I would never consider buying genuine oakleys as I've always thought they were overpriced. However, I do have two pairs of Ebay Choakleys - jawbones and radars - each bought for less than £20 and I think they're great. For the record, the lenses on them are 'supposed' to be UV400...

I have no real reason to suspect the ones he has purchased are not the same as mine.

Apart from them not being genuine.

I appreciate not everyone can afford genuine ones, (I know I can't anymore), but the fact remains these are not genuine, and as such the title is misleading, but as long as everyone realises that then I guess there's no harm done.

These are £27 for a pair of £5 sunglasses - I personally will be steering clear.
