Oakley Winter Lenses

Im thinking of buying some clear or yellow lenses to ride in now that it is getting darker in the mornings & at night. Im not sure which ones to get between the 2 below - whats the main benefit of the yellow ones against the clear ones?

The yellow ones make evey day look like a Spanish summer's day

More seriously the yellow is supposed to help with definition in low light conditions. Off road I find that with yellow lenses I can see tree roots etc more clearly when in shadow/under a tree canopy On road I use clear lenses at night/in the rain.

I am happier using the clear ones at night. As a slightly more representative sample: if memory serves me correctly on a FNRttC there are (far?) more clear lenses than coloured.

I use the high intensity yellow lenses when it is dark because my baby blues are too sensitive to headlights. I don't have a problem seeing anything.

The HI Yellow lenses let 86% of light through as opposed to the 93% for clear lenses.
