Observation skills?

Have spent the last 2 and a bit years thinking I had 700x28c M+ tyres on my hybrid, needed to use one of them on the CX yesterday and discovered they are actually700 x 32c.
Saying that, they're usually so dirty I can't see any writing on them at all

I have no space in my brain for such trivia, the size is written on the tyre wall for when I need to know.

800g per tyre, might put the other on the front now, don't like having mismatched tyres on the bike

Must be my problem; can't climb hills like I used to. Need to decide whether it will be easier to;

• Lose a few grams off the bike by buying lighter gear?
• Buy a block with larger ratios?
• Or lose several kgs off the overweight rider?

I have for the last two years thought i was a brad pitt double , my was i shocked when i looked closer and realised i was not, moral of the story if it makes you happy dont look any closer.

Check to make sure it isn't an Apollo.
