Off to see Revolution at Manchester velo - What to expect?

My lovely girlfriend got me tickets to watch round 4 of Revolution at Gunchester Velodrome on the 28th.
Thing is, I literally have no idea what to expect! I got into road cycling last summer, and since then its slowly taken over my life
I've never seen track cycling other than a few bits and bobs on TV and watching it on youtube, so I really have no idea what to expect!

Whats it like?
I suppose they let you in with a DSLR wont they? Ill go mad and post the best photos here I think

Fast, furious and very noisy. I'm sure you will enjoy. Unless you have a reserved premium ticket then get there early to bag a good seat (not that there are any really bad seats). Say hello to Ned Boulting for me.

I went to an event at the velodrome when it first opened. It was very exciting, and I understood the simple events but the Madison and Points race were completely mental to watch! I didn't have a clue what was going on half the time ...

Erm, there will be a bunch of blokes/girls riding in circles - that's it. Some bloke might be cheating on a motorbike - watch out for him. Oh and don't dangle a your drink over the edge otherwise a steward will have your guts !

Have fun taking photo's - very tricky with the light conditions.
