There have been a few posts in the Cafe recently that don't really fit with its easy-going ethos.
I expect some of them have come about because newer members don't really know the history of these two forums, so I just wanted to remind everyone (and let new members know) what they are:
CycleChat Cafe - is intended as a light and fun off-topic forum. Somewhere you can go for Tea? and cake and to have a bit of light-hearted fun with your CC friends. Easy going, light, breezy, casual, relaxed ... you get the idea.
Current Affairs and Debates - is a more robust and in-depth off-topic discussion area where topics (and politics) can be debated at length and where stronger opinion is allowed due to the non-public setting of the forum.
Please keep this in mind when starting new off-topic threads.
