OK, so who's gonna cycle to work tomorrow?

Didn't feel as cold this morning as it did yesterday... less icy patches to negotiate, no frost on either my legs or gloves, and my brake levers, shifters and water bottle didn't ice up. Guess -1°C isn't that cold after all

we don't have much in the way of big water courses round here), and that still had quite a layer on it. Why?

No ground retained heat, cold air blowing underneath & above tarmac = constant cold temp. It is the same for most road bridges I cross two and always need ot be bit more vigilant on them

Yesterday am I did see another cyclist pushing their bike through a junction (on a shared path) - wasn't sure if she had fallen off as she was adjusting the bike as I approached, and was gingerly walking by the time I got to the junction - slippy underfoot, but I was cheating (spikes).

Just a bit of frost here. No snow. Better than sheet ice (like last year) but Preston sucks.

It was reading - 5 this morning on the way home, not as cold as i expected.
