On second thoughts, a new thread would be less confusing...
There's a new start and finish (as the other Honiton events). Otherwise the route is as last year:-
A more-or-less straight route along the old A30 to Okehampton for breakfast at the Little Red Rooster cafe.
'B' roads north through Iddesleigh and High Bickington to the Station Master's cafe at Barnstaple
East along the old main route from North Devon via South Molton and Wiveliscombe. Then a climb over the Quantocks to Cheddar at the foot of the gorge. The Riverside Inn will serve food and drink there.
Then South through Wedmore, Shapwick, High Ham, Muchelney Abbey, via Huish Episcopi to South Petherton. The control's a 24hr garage with a shop.
Finally, more old roads and lanes across to the A30, climb through Yarcombe, and a final section of the old coach road to Honiton. Food and drink at the finish.
