Hi, looking for my first half decent road bike. Unfortunatly i only have around £600 to spend. The question is do i get something better spect but second hand and maybe 2-3 years old...or do i buy new and maybe not get so much bike for the money? The 2 i have in mind at the minute are a used but good condition 2010 trek 2.3 Alpha or a brand new Felt F85.
I dont have much experience but going by the reviews these both look faily good deals for around £550 each. It will be used for fitness training (20-30 miles) and a couple of triathlons this year.
If there are better choices please let me know but i cant decide...do i go used or new for my first bike?
