Much as expected. Plenty of oomph but no dedicated lead out man for Cavendish, then he's proved that's OK if he is taken into the last kilo, he can do the job anyway. Glad that Millar is there, he is a wise head who does not anic, and with only five man teams that's an essential. The opposition will be mostly the same people Cav 's outsprinting at the TdF, so here's hoping.

I think i heard he's one of the riders who's been suffering with the Jimmy Whites which might explain.

He has, and his wife has been very ill. Read that today, but there has been little mention on that from ITV4 and it was obvious from the prologue that something wasn't right.
