Omens ?

This morning there are thousands of tiny little birds flying
overhead and in the trees at the bottom of the garden, making a really
load whisling type noise, I have never encounted or seen this in all the 6 years i have
lived here.

This morning i buried my little dog in the garden next to my old favorite dog Blue,
am i being silly thinking its the two of them flying free.

Very sorry about your loss, first thing. Losing a pet causes a great deal of grief. I think this event may have been meant for you to see in this context, and you have to believe what gives you comfort at this time. It is, in my estimation, not silly at all. The flyways of migratory birds can be changed by a plethora of circumstances, but their showing up at this time,in this place, seems like it is meant to give you comfort.

Not silly at all.
I always think things that happen, happen for a reason, even if that reason is merely to give us comfort and/or hope.
I am sure your two dogs are running free together
