Has anyone been to one - are they any good ?

I've been to the last couple in Liverpool. A good range of clothes and parts, with prices about what you'd expect to pay online (maybe a tiny bit more), but you have the advantage of getting your hands on the stuff there and then.

Last time I came away with a bag full of inner tubes and GT85. I also tried on enough shoes to work out what size I needed, before snapping up a bargain pair on eBay instead.

The sales are OK - usually good for tools, lights, tubes and similar. Worth stocking up.

There are some excellent one off bargains and they will sometimes do a deal. I bought several chains an 2 cassettes and got them dirt cheap.

They had some really cheap commuting tyres and Michelin Kryilions too.

Clothes are a bit hit or miss, but generally cheap and more at the commuting/touring end of the market.

Last year one member of our club took orders from everyone and bought everything in one go an saved quite a bit.

Some of the clothing is cheap and cheerful. The branded goods can be as much if not more than you'll pay online, but at least you get it there and then. There are bargains to be had, but decide what you want before you go and check the online prices before you buy.

I'm not sure if they're still trading - they used to list the dates online but their whole website's blank at the moment. The last couple of years it's been held on the last weekend in January at Garston leisure centre.
