so, I picked this one up locally, and it had a bad paint job.....I am slowly removing this as carefully as I can, to reveal the original paint underneath.....it's a wonderful bi-laminate frame with a lovely fork....it also has a Harry Rensch single front bottle holder...double rare!

How it came to me...

And original decals appear under the repaint...



It's a slow burn though, as I think the paint is only original once, and I want to save it if possible

Brute force and ignorance!

I'm using soapy water, wet and dry paper, wire wool, and abrasive discs.....the sort of fabric ones.
I'm just trying to tickle the rubbish paint off....the toughest part is the grey primer.
