Local farmer has just chain flailed his hedges on my regular commute run, the road is littered with blackthorn and hawthorn, its like he's scattered caltrops accross the road!
been a few of us affected by it, now this is a private road but it has a public right of way (bridalway) on OS maps.
means my commute is now 9 miles instead of 5 which is ok i guess, upped my average to 15.8 on the first day heh.
but who is responsible for this road? is it the farmer being his road? does he have a duty to keep it clear at all?
i'm guessing it won't effect cars much although it may still considering the size of some of the thorns, i am a little worried about the horses that use that route.
can anyone advise?
