I have one of those brothers...

He rang me up today to ask me how to get a car park ticket out of his cd player. Turns out that whilst shopping yesterday, the ticket barrier ticket you get to timestamp you in, after it had been validated for his free parking at xyz shopping centre, he got into the car and "put it in its usual place". Only he appears to have inserted it just too far this time and the CD player on his car decided he was wanting to play a CD and pulled his ticket into the CD player. Needless to say nothing played and eject won't eject the ticket! I can just imagine the fun he had explaining that one to the car park attendant...:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

He never learns...

The obvious question is...... why did he think you would know how to get it out?
I'm the mechanical minded one/engineer in our household (he only takes things apart - giving me plenty of practice of fixing things and at putting things back together). I'm just not sure what he expects me to do with a car radio that is more than 200 miles away from me   :surrender:.
I suspect he will leave it at our mothers over Christmas for me to collect, repair, return and then him collect next time he is up for a Stoke match! That is the usual approach!

@SatNavSaysStraightOn Must admit.....made me chuckle. I consider myself reasonably intelligent but have been known to do similar things  Normally a few seconds after whatever daft thing I do I think "What a pillock" but doesn't stop me.

One time taking stuff to the skip in the back of the car I had so much stuff I had to leave the hatchback up. Drove forward up the drive and forgot my bathroom window was wide open. Pulled said window off it's hinges and twisted the hatchback. Luckily, most stuff is more minor than that thankfully, although I am best kept away from kitchens. Can't cook, won't cook and safer not to even try. Lol
