I've certainly never went into the back of a vehicle in front.......umm, errr, ok maybe just once....

I very nearly did that at a RAB a few weeks ago,traffic light controlled light on red, sat there 2nd in the queue behind a lady driver lights go green we set off and she decides to stop and give way just managed to stop myself in time.Can't tell you what I muttered under my breath at her

Ah yes. Brings back memories of my first ever clipless ride:
On a fast roundabout behind an police-dog van and we are both taking the same exit. Suddenly the van brakes to let some peds cross over the roundabout! Plonker!
Thankfully my brakes worked and I had the pedals on their weakest setting. Otherwise I'd have face planted into a couple of huge Alsatians
