On my commute home tonight I saw 2 cyclists in the distance, I quckly caught and went past them. About a mile later after clearing my nose I heard someone exclaim "that nearly hit me in the eye"! They'd obviously scaught my wheel and sat on it for a tow; I had no idea they were there. At that they decided to come past me and try to drop me.

Riding home from work last night I passed two lads as we rode out of Bedworth, a couple of hundred yards further on they both steamed past me, I carried on as I was and a short distance further on they slowed to about my speed so I followed a short distance behind them, by the time we got into the outskirts of Coventry it was obvious one was stronger than the other and I caught him on the climb up St Giles Rd, the other one I never caught, when I stopped at the Prologis traffic lights the lad I caught came past and they jumped the red light and I lost sight of them, livened up a dull commute.

Have to say I did once catch a wasp in the mouth when racing down a road on a breezy day many years back. Quickly went to gob it back out before he could sting me and it ended up smeared on a passing windscreen of a nice topless sportscar.

I spent ages catching someone who turned off before I got there!! Could have had the good manners to be caught.
