Orbea alluminium frames

Would like to think they are made in the Basque country but have heard that they are made in the far east (Tawain?) as are most frames be it Orbea Cannondale Trek or who ever, due to cheapness for mass production. The bikes are then "made" in the factory of the manufacturer. Anyone else heard this?

It is something that happens to most of the big brands/names nowadays. They still paint and assembly them in Spain.
