Orbit track bikes

I have an Orbit steel track frame bought in Lee-on-Solent Hampshire UK for training the Singapore Paralympic squad in 1998-ish for the 2000 Games and has a frame number 720724.
Does anybody have any knowledge of this frame / track bike please.

It was presumably built in Sheffield if it's a 1998 bike; earlier ones were built in Dudley. They are low volume mass-produced bikes. Quality is usually ok but journeyman rather than craftsman in nature. I had a Dudley Orbit for many years.

@faustino42 you need to try and track down Andy Thompson.

He did appear on here from time to time but can't remember what he was under .

Sure he was on retro bike as featch ?
