As in the title. I have a pair of front city classics which have been used and abused for about 15 years. Crashed with them etc.

Last year, for off road bike packing, I fitted extra lower hooks which have been great for my off road bits of my commute.

Anyway, I really want a new set for bike packing/touring only, keeping the existing ones just for work (saves unpacking).

But, my word they are expensive, especially used ones on ebay.

Lots of searching and Ive ordered some new Ortlieb Gravel panniers (they have an extra hook) via Westbrook Cycles and a first order discount. £106 I can live with and the extra hooks are £10 each if I went for normal panniers.

But looking on ebay a 'well used' pair can go for £100 plus (eg back rollers).

I'm assuming you mean you've got the Ortleib gravel bags. I can vouch for them being brilliant, have given mine some hammer bikepacking. Only problem I've had was with the rack they fitted onto, the bracket that its slotted onto came unscrewed from the frame. Luckily hadn't lost the screw so quick fix, since redone with retaining compound. I looked on ebay myself and picked up a new set on offer for less.

I have got a pair of cavernous back rollers, bought on the bay about 10 years ago, used daily since.
I think I paid around £50 for them.
They came dusty, an inside pocked ripped, but are still going strong.
Many times they have been stuffed with shopping to the brim!
I also have a pair of front rollers, got for £30 new when you could spend your Tesco point in Evans.
Then I have an Ortlieb messenger rucksack, bartered for 2 bottles of coke from a local barter page.
It belonged to the ex of a girl that didn't know what it was for

Seems like a good buy

It's interesting how well the back rollers hold their value; I found similiar to you when looking for a set and ended up buying new because unless you stumble across some silly-cheap for whatever reason, you'll save maybe 20-25% of the new price which doesn't seem like a great buy; especially on an item that's likely to see a lot of use / abuse / wear.

I'm generally very impressed with mine and don't begrudge what they cost considering the utility they've given in the time I've had them.

There is a pair of back rollers up on ebay, that must be very old as they have a really old logo.

My front rollers are getting a little worn in places, but they have been patched up, pocket sewn up. I ordered new screws and nuts last year after one or two fell out. It's the parts availability that's great. I've a couple of rips in mine, but they glue well, or in one case sewn up.
