They are worth something to some one, but probably only in your area as bricks are 'local'

Unless you know a local brickie, then you may find the local building supplies warehouse may be interested, they often have a pile for local bricks.

The going rate for clean hard bricks for our 110 year old house was £5 each ! but seems to get quite a discount if you took a pallet load.

Good of your joiners to tell you before taking them away them during demolition...

65mm high external angle 'special' bricks [if a standard angle, ie 135 deg or 120 deg] would be worth selling if a good quality hand made brick in a 'popular' blend or colour. If older 73mm high bricks they 'd be worth a bit more.

£5 each would be expensive though. Factory moulded bricks sell for around £300/1000 with specials selling for around 10x the cost per brick, hand made bricks cost more depending on appearance.

It's been possible to cut and glue standard bricks to make specials for a good few years so the demand isn't as great as used to be.
