Ouch mate!
Yeah, that cutter is razor sharp but you still gotta put a fair bit of pressure on it to get through the spuds, as you can imagine it had a fair bit of force behind it when it slipped.

Just had to call my lad down from his bedroom to put a dressing on my thumb, was cutting chips with one of these View attachment 144298 when the potato moved and the cutter skidded off and into my thumb. It felt like it had gone down to the bloody bone, I wouldn't mind but I only have partial use of that thumb after breaking my tendon a few years ago. I now have a very neat wavy gash in my thumb and it ruddy hurts :cursing:
Maybe I should have posted this in the mundane news?????
you really only have yourself to blame.

this "cooking from scratch" malrky, its bad for your health I tell you.

(Hope the thumb is ok soon)

I've been here since '71, the only zoo I was aware of was at Exley before WW1
Pellon Lane, headed up. Clear Woodlesford and take a look over to your left. The old control tower still stands & can be seen once you clear the houses.

Does sort of explain the odd street names now though. Here since 71.

My own fault for wanting to make wrinkly chips, should have done steak cut chips instead.
