Seems I'm out numbered in Swindon, as far as I know there is only one cyclist with a YouTube channel, me, but there seems to be at least three car drivers with a channel. They seem to be just as fed up with the poor standard of driving displayed on our roads.

I've been off the bike for a couple of weeks and driving around town more than I usually do. Some of the driving I've encountered in that time has been mind boggingly bad. The marked deterioration when schools returned and with each bout of bad weather has made me glad that I've not been on two wheels. I'm not looking forward to the clocks going back.

That's no surprise - helmet-cammers are rare. I don't know anyone in Newcastle who uses one.

I would imagine with ever increasing insurance costs many drivers are installing camera's to protect their valuable no claims bonus.

You may be the only one on youtube, but you might be joined by others who dont post online. I've had several ask me about the cameras, in fact even guys in vans a couple of times

I overtook my first proper cyclist on my mountain bike today well chuffed, he was like " wtf i got a 2k bike with lycra and i been overtaken by some dude with baggy shorts and a big rucksak "

Substitute Enfield for Southampton and we might have met, LOL! Although I dont really mind when other riders overtake me.

No. He was like "well, bound to happen now i've had my left leg removed and am transporting this 80kg load of lead to the lead shop. Oh and my gears are stuck on one and I have 2 flat tyres and I've got a cold".

I actually drove to work Friday.Not feeling too good.People drive too damn fast!Cannot believe they want to get to work so quick,or are they just cutting it fine?
