I'm doing RideLondon next weekend and looking at the weather forecast, I may need to think about overshoes as I can't imagine riding 100 miles with wet feet will be pleasant. I do currently have overshoes but they are quite thick neoprene ones.

I know you can't get 100% waterproof, but are there any recommendations for lighter overshoes that will have a good go at keeping feet dry and that could be stored in a back pocket if the weather does look like it may rain?

i use BBB aquashield, find them good for most wet days and not too warm. they fold up reasonable enough to fit into back pocket. have them about 5 yrs and still wearing well.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
If it is raining/going to I wear merino socks. I find they keep you feet warm even when soaked. Thin overshoes help a bit, but water gets in from above and below no matter how waterproof the material.
