..
What, you go out in your garden to pick your mum some flowers and before you get back to the back door, you're hit by 80mph winds, low visibility and plummetting temperatures?

Here you go, what a true Mountain is
Look at the percentage of people that have died on that Mountain.
The mount of people that have climbed that Mountain is low.
The amount of people that die on the mound of snowdon is lower, and the amount of people that go for a leisurly walk up mound snowdon and get to the top is high.

End of.

Well of course Everest is more dangerous, K2 is more dangerous again and the Eiger is pretty much up there too but Snowdon can still be a dangerous mountain.

Definition of a mtn. - the height of the summit above sea level - in the UK mountains must be over 610m (approx 2000ft) to be called 'mountains'.

It's a mountain.

Snowdon can bite. I remember a very windy Easter day srambling along the top. It had been a most pleasant day when we left the car.
