If anyone ever needs to get from Palma airport to Palma or Palma train station, this is the route I take.

It is flat and very scenic, once you leave the airport. There may be shorter routes but once you reach the promanade at Can Pastille, this route is on a cycle path almost all the way into Palma. It passes many cafes, restaurants and great beaches.

The only slightly tricky bit of the route is getting from the airport to the petrol station at the first roundabout and even then if you follow the route it is easy.

If you are travelling to Pollenca the trains go as far as Sa Pobla and then it is a nice ride from there. The trains and stations are set up really well for cycles and you will not have to lift your bike at all. Which is great if you have a fully loaded tourer, as I did. It is very cheap to travel by train.

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Would taking the blue bridge over the autoroute, then 200m of gravel track get you to Carrer Vaixell, bypassing the autoroute junction and cutting about 1.5km off?

My abiding memory of Palma airport is wishing I had my bike for the trek between the entrance, booking in and the actual aeroplane!
