Can anyone tell me if you can fit a Pannier rack to any bike?
I have a 2007 Sirrus and need to fit a rack but can't see where!

It appears (looking at pix online) that the Sirrus line have threaded bosses on the seat stays for racks. I can't make out, but it would follow that there are threaded eyelets on the rear dropouts as well.

Why not take your bike to a LBS and have them advise you?

You can fit a standard one to an 06 Sirrus sports; I don't think spesh will have changed that. It has the eyelets on the rear drop outs and the bosses on the seat stays.
If helps here's some picture of my rack.

I have an 04' Sirrus and unless they have removed the bosses on the rear seat stays adjacent to the rear brakes and the threaded holes, one on each side of the upper edge of the rear drop outs, you should be able to fit any rack. The front fork might not have bosses for mounting low loaders any more as Specialised put a carbon fork on the later Sirri AFAIK. If you want the best racks go for Tubus. Next Madison Summit and Topeak Expedition, last and I mean last of the main brands is Blackburn as the welds don't last because when they make them they do not weld all the way around the tubing at a join so the welds are not so strong and fail. You have a close look at one. I have had two welds break on two Blackburn Ex-2 racks now. One rack 2.5 years old the other 3 months old. Haven't been carrying excessive weight either. Grrrr.......
