Thanks for the comments everyone. I'll be taking the wheel off in the next couple of weeks and hope they can get it sorted for me while I'm on my three week bikepacking trip in Ireland 👀.

Not an expense I wanted to account for, but I do enjoy riding the bike so I guess freshly build rear wheel it is.

Hi Boopop - I'm very new to Pashley. Bought mine a few days ago for my teenage daughter. And I find that 1 rear wheel spoke on the Pashley Sovereign Princess with 5-speed Sturmey Archer hub is broken. I'm going to try putting in a new spoke. Which spokes would you recommend?

Hello! I don't know what spokes my local bike shop used when they repaired the rear wheel, sorry. Pashley ought to be able to tell you though. They kept breaking however, so I ended up getting the wheels rebuilt by JD Tandems. That's the third Pashley I know of (including mine and another my LBS saw) that has had spokes break...I'm not convinced they build them with good wheels.

The frames are good but the wheels are suspect. I hope the gravel/road bikes they released recently are made to a higher over standard, as they look quite good.
