Junior Walker and the Allstars
Just thought I'd share this with you.

My copy of Q magazine dropped through the letterbox yesterday. In it was a review of two gigs Macca played recently, at the 100 Club and the Hammersmith Apollo (17th/18th December 2010).
What struck me was the Apollo setlist that Q kindly printed, which I'm going to list below:
Magical Mystery Tour • Jet • All My Loving • One After 909 • Drive My Car
Let Me Roll It • The Long and Winding Road • Nineteen Hundred And Eighty-Five • Maybe I'm Amazed • Blackbird
Here Today • I'm Looking Through You • And I Love Her • Dance Tonight • Eleanor Rigby
Hitch Hike • Sing The Changes • Something • Band On The Run • Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Back In The USSR • A Day In The Life • Give Peace A Chance • Let It Be • Live And Let Die
Hey Jude • Wonderful Christmastime • I Saw Her Standing There • Get Back • Yesterday
Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band • The End

There are many many artists around today who can boast a large canon of work that would produce a list like that.

I admit unashamedly here and now to being a HUGE Beatles fan, but I don't think you need to be to agree that of the 32 songs above, are many of them not among the greatest songs ever written?
What a gig that must've been.

Four or five not bad songs, the rest fairly dull - all sung by a not very good singer
