Why do people feel it necessary to park 2 wheels up on the kerb or footpath? If there ain't room to park safely without obstructing traffic flow, then go park somewhere else.
Why? Because you can inconvenience pavement users and road users, both at the same time, and for bonus points crack a paving stone or two:smile:.

Well. well, I left Valley Parade tonight after the game v MK Dons. To the right of the pic is the long, smaller Midland Road stand. After the game a car drove south to north alongside and past the stadium and across the junction just after, at speed, along the pavement leading to hundreds of fans diving out of the way, the idiot then drove on the road, through a red light, leading to more fans diving from a pedestrian crossing. I saw this clearly and will report back on it.

I've run into the road there, more than once whilst walking, for my own safety. One a council vehicle trying a shortcut into the recycling centre.

Has there been a description of the driver given out. If there is one?

Pretty sure there will be a driver.

It is another one of those cases where there are a lot of witnesses who saw everything and all recorded slightly different images.

It is also unlikely that anyone will have paid enough attention to the car to take the risks registration

It was a high powered German car racing around Manningham at night, so I pretty much knew "who" the driver was before my eyeballs confirmed it. If I was blind I'd still know the driver and be able to give a 1 in 4 chance of getting the car right too. The reg number was on the net within an hour of the incident, the same car was photo'd yesterday speeding like lunatic on the wrong side of the road. It's so odd, I expected in to be in lock up on Tues night having it's damage repaired and the plates changed.

Really? Surely that's the first thing people look at when they see a car driven badly.

Logically that would be the case, but unfortunately not in some circumstances

If an injury occurs, or there are people avoiding the vehicle, that is where the attention is diverted

Also look at the number of times people on here remember dangerous driving, but either can't remember the registration or only part of it

I know that was my own experience....I saw a cyclist being knocked off and gave first aid

When interviewed by the Police I could describe exactly what had happened to the cyclist, but apart from the fact that it was a dark car and had turned right into a junction across the cyclist's path, I could not really describe the car
