Wiki are refusing to pay £10,000 in copyright fees, because they say the man who owned the camera didnt actually take the picture!!! It was a monkey selfie!

So I say pay the monkey the money instead, afterall he took the photo!
It does raise an odd legal issue, if you own the camera equipment, but dont actually press the shutter, then who owns the image that's produced?
