Love peas in every manifestation, I particularly like Pea and Ham soup, a favourite of mine and no mistake. A steaming bowl of Pea and Ham soup brings me unreasonable joy.

Guilty as charged.

Last year the enemy grew some peas, we had quite a crop, not one of them reached the pan. And this year the farmer was growing them for animal feed, acres of them, in the spring when they were just coming up, I used to take the dogs for a walk over there and just pop pods of peas for the whole of my walk. Luvverly.

Uncle of mine tried to grow a field of peas one year... the 50 or so yards of field that backed onto a housing estate didn't have a single pod on the plants... odd that.
