Anyone know if there's a cycling cap with integrated ear coverings available?

I've fairly recently found using a cycling cap under my helmet is a great advantage; less rain on glasses, easier to avoid glare from oncoming cars, looks snazzy. I find these well worth the reduced visibility/neck strain when in a tight tuck downhill.

Now it's getting colder I'm aware my ears will begin to get too cold wothout their own covering, I could improvise with one of the many buffs I have acquired, or use a skull cap and peaked cap, but think an 'integrated solution' (sorry for management speak) all-in-one would be appealingly neat.

There are a number of hiking/mountaineering caps available
eg http://www.ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk/extremities_ice_cap_waterproof_mountain_cap.html
or http://www.ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk/montane_featherlite_mountain_cap.html

The peak varies between short and soft with wire stiffening, up to full length baseball cap style. A helmet will keep the peak set relatively low so a long peak may restrict your vision too much.

In a moment of madness, I bought a Swrv Belgian cap...

It was probably because it's merino and I like most things merino. Anyways, it is surprisingly good and I wasn't, if I'm to be honest, expecting that. I've yet to wear it under a helmet but I don't anticipate a problem there.

Thanks for the replies. Got round to reading this weeks comic just now, and there's a round up of winter head gear with at least twp of the suggestions made here in it!

Found this but you might find it a tad difficult to get your helmet over it :cold:
