Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere (and not sure if it's in the right section, but hey).

Pedestrian dies after collision with cyclist in Petersham Road

There are some reasonably balanced arguments so far, not quite the usual slanging match - whether this is because it a) isn't the Daily Mail, or b) is the local paper for a reasonably affluent area where lots of people cycle as a general way of getting about, I don't know.

RIP, makes me very sad.

Sometimes it goes the other way - a few weeks ago a skater and cyclist collided in Ken Gardens, and the cyclist died 4 days later.

They are all part of Newsquest Media, which does all the local newspaper websites.

Technically I do wonder if theres a potential problem created for the investigation and courts when people are allowed to leave comments like that. It often doesnt even serve any real purpose other than to allow some people the chance to wind others up.

On the positive side the comments aint quite as bad as other news sites.
