Penrith area!

Just looking for a little weather info from the penrith area.

My son is travelling across to centerparcs tomorrow (friday). I know the A66 is more than likely a non starter, so he'll be going A69 then down the M6.
I was just wondering if anyone had any first hand info on the roads around Penrith/Centerparc.

Hi AF i`ve been working in Alston this week and have been travelling via the A69 which is clear, 2 lads i`m workin with are from Carlisle and from what they say all the main roads in Cumbria are clear. At the moment the thaw is setting in so i would think the lad will have no bother. Don`t try Hartside though as it`s still closed.
