I've just been flicking through stuff on the web and found out Peter Skellern is no longer with us.

He always seemed to have that brass band backing to his music.

He died a month ago.

He wrote 'One More Kiss, Dear' with Vangelis for the film Blade Runner, he was also the voice of Carter Brandon for the BBC adaptation of Uncle Mort's North Country, those two things at least put him into the uber-cool category.

And he was in the original Oasis.

Like i said,i've only just found out. There was no mention of his death on the local tv news. He came from Bury(formerly part of Lancashire)

I heard about it on radio 4. He used to tour around with Richard Stilgoe.
