Im low on funds and taking my petrol strimmer for someone to check it out is not happening atm. I have a ryobi strimmer the one where you can change the ends. My problem with it is its not giving enough power, I have checked the end to see if the strimmer is tangled but there's nothing there.

Anyone know what might be wrong?

Check the in line filter if it has one for a blockage
also make sure the fuel mix is right ...(.Fresh fuel )

Also try washing the sponge in the carb as they can get blocked with particles. You can try running it without the sponge in place first to see if that is going to help.

If they've been stood up for any length of time the oil and petrol tend to separate with the heavier oil sinking to the bottom of the fuel tank, clean the spark plug and empty the fuel back into the transport can (the one you take to the garage) give it a good shake and refill the strimmer tank. Plus check the filters as well.
