My cousin had a hamster called 'Furry Roamer'
And he named a cat a very very long name, which was pretty much a sentence. Actually it was a sentence.
For a name!!!
If he ever has kids and he names them i will be worried.

Mmmm, dunno about daft. Had hamsters called Bertie & Ned.
Dog called Spirit.
Guinea Pig called Spike. That's probably the daftest name, although we did have a dog called Slate (dad is a roofer).

I would have thought Slate's dad would be a woofer.

Quite a number of my rats over the years have had silly names:
Gnawra, Klinger, Schrodinger, Maggie, Shelley, Hope, and Glory got the normalest names.
Pepper was a rescue and came with her name.
But throughout we've had a bit of a theme going with: Woodward, Bernstein, Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Hunt, Liddy, Mitchell, Magruder, Stans, Segretti, Ziegler, Nixon, Kissinger, Dean and Colson.

Cats: Tigger was adopted with that name. Slinky came with the name Sandy which wasn't that good, so we changed it to Slinky but she is usually Slink-pod, or just Pod.

Dog: We had a wonderful labrador when I was a child, I have her pedigree chart still in my 'box of soppy stuff', her name was "Queen Charlotte of El Pueblo". Known to all as Dooey (we think it was because her first nickname was Scamp, which turned in to Scampidoodle, which turned in to Do and Dooey).

I wanted to call my most recent (rescued) cat Spot, after Data's cat in Star Trek, (yes, I know ).

So instead I asked on here about all the female characters in Star Trek, but then decided on one that would be easy to spell - Tasha.

When I was a lad a mate of mine had a dog called Lenin. Seeing him run across the North Yorks moors shouting for his pooch was hilarious
