Please excuse my ignorance, having only got a Brompton, but I saw this on a Facebook group for Pugs. I am posting these with permission.

I did not know they made folders, but that is a pretty little thing, I like it and it's purple, too! 😍

How good were they compared to other makes?:

I know three of people who have these and they’re rather fond of them, but all three are a bit eccentric, ‘cos they have Raleigh 20s and Kingpins and other small wheel bikes.

I’ve ridden the Pugs and they are a nice ride , if I remember correctly the wheels are 22inch. Anyway they are as good as any of the other classic small wheel bikes from the 70s & 80s. That one looks to be in nice condition.

Thanks, yes, I just wonder how they compare to a Brompton and others.

I looked at them on eBay, but some were going for faintly daft money and well, no purple ones anyway! 😆

They’re no where near as good as B to fold, arguably more comfortable to ride perhaps, one of the owners I know had a B but preferred the Pug, but then his B was rebuilt with cheap Chinese parts and it collapsed underneath him.

You can’t really compare the two, the pug is old, it’ll be bigger and heavier. Fun to own, but only if you’re into old shopping bikes for shoots n giggles.
