Like everyone else I enjoyed your photos. The ones you posted earlier in the year inspired me to go to the north of Scotland, and now I think I'll have to go to the Pyrenees.

BTW you look decidedly different in cycling gear than you do in your avatar - maybe it's the absence of a beer glass.

Great pictures. The Pyrenees are fantastic touring country.

I see you did the Col de Pailheres, that's a toughie. When I went up there last year the wild horses at the top weren't in the most sociable of moods (see pic).

Hats off to you for touring through there ! The whole trip looks fab !

My bro-in-law and I hired some cheap Decathlon road bikes to do the Col de Pailheres from the east side this summer. Toughest climb I've ever done, but also the most amazing road I've ever cycled. On our the way back down there was a chap going up with full touring gear, biggest grin on his face saying "C'est rue est excellent!", I was struggling at that point. Five minutes later there was a couple going up each pulling a child trailer, one with gear, one with baby in the back.

Words cannot describe how amazing it is up there. This video gives you a taste:

I've gotta go back for a tour now.
