Hoooray Finally. I take it all back, those things I muttered under my breath.....

What year did you say it was? Mines a '97, different colour, some detail differences and V's anyway, not canti's.

Looks OK that. I was expecting it to be nose up and look a bit odd but it doesn't.

What make forks are they then? And where did you get them?

Now I look, I can see it's a bit high at the front but as I'm about to fit a riser stem....

The Engineering trickery doesn't sound promising though. I think the difficulty might be finding some forks. Velly interesting though.
