I have an Dawes Audax 2006 which has been very good and so good in fact that I also have a Dawes Audax 2007 of which I haven't ridden yet.

The only problem I have had with 2006 is the back wheel buckled after 67 miles.Got it to Waterloo to find most of the spokes loose.Bought a new back wheel from Evans Waterloo of where I purchased it.

I saw it hanging up in the bike shop originally and knew at once it was perfectly suited to my commute.

Bought it for £950 from Evans and the 2007 version I bought off of the internet for £750 but with no carrier.

Didn't use 2006 till September 2007 due to a frame fracture on Hackbike 8.

It was bought on 19 September 2006 but wasn't ridden till 25 September 2007.Hackbike 8 suffered a frame fracture on 24 September 2007.

It has done almost 1500 miles but wasn't used for most of november though.(I was in Hong Kong and Cycling in Japan)

At this present time it has been one of the best bikes I have ever bought.

Will go into spefs later.

Yes it's been a dream.Even fallen off it within the first three months.

Shimano 105 stuff apart from the brakes.

Tektro on the brakes which im sure is not as good as Shimano 105's but they work fine.

Just put Shimano 105 on the front.
