Planet X Pro Carbon v Mekk Poggio 2.5

Well, having ruled out the Ribble 872 as it goes well over my £1k budget once I get to a 105 groupset, I am going to go for either the Planet X Pro Carbon Ultegra (I know the chainset isnt Ultegra, but the shifters and mechs are, and I can soon change that if it bugs me), or a MEKK Poggio 2.5, seen online for £945 at JEJames.

(The Poggio was £899 when I checked this morning, darn it!)

So, any thoughts on the above before I commit...

N+1 excitement always building for me - even when it will be months away.

In any case - I would be very tempted by both - although the range of sizes left @ je james is very small.

If I had to choose one sort of off the cuff - just now I would go for the Planet X.

Sorry, can't be any more help than that as I don't know enough about the Mekk.

Seems a very good choice & v good bike to me - hope you enjoy it.
