I shall remember that one We play scrabble from time to time and himself always wins. Personally I think that he makes words up and says "its a well known term in gaming circles". I am more of a 'if its not in the OED, you can't have it' school.

I was staying with a relative abroad and it was decreed we would play Scrabble. I got a bit fed up with the time her partner required to think before making a move and dropped a subtle hint which I realised did not go down at all well. I quickly apologised but he thought he "had a cold coming on" and retired early to bed....never saw him again.
