I've just ordered a new bike..... so obviously every other bike in the shed is now jealous and demanding attention/spares.
The soon-to-be-relegated-to-a-winter-bike has taken this to extremes and firstly snapped a chain, then managed to keep spitting the new chain from the cassette and (to add insult to injury) chainwheels. Cue new cassette, crankset and BB (which was a bit creaky before).
And to think - they told me it would be cheaper to commute on a bike......
my mountain bike is always fine - till I hit a nasty hill then the gears get stuck in top , or middle of nowere and the seat goes all flippy, or a tyre explodes. Ive never had to carry it back but Ive done many a trip struggling back on a dead tyre, or standing on the pedals.
