Hiya guys, I am a University Student Of Oxford, doing my Masters in Product design, my project I am working on at present is to do with cycling in cities. I have constructed a quick survey that would help me endlessly on my user research. This feedback will help me get my design process started, I will make sure everyone that replies gets a prototype of my final product!!!

Just click the links below, survey won't take up more than a minute of your time, thank you

...we have been set a design project, to improve the lifestyle of the urban dweller by redesigning the bicycle

Had you attempted a "dry run" of your survey you'd have spotted a few questions that need checkboxes (select multiple) instead of bulletpoint boxes (i.e select a single item from a list)

Redesign the bicycle? But optimistic
Unless you can get me something that is disguise-able then yeah

Redesign in what sense?
I thought bromptons were a redesign with practicality.

I am pleased to read that your Master's is not in English; university student does not need to be in upper case. How will a syrvey
help you 'endlessly'? Surely you mean enoumously or greatly with your research.
What do you mean by ' I am currently wanting to gather information...'? Do you mean that you are gathering information?
Question number 1 in the survey is ridiculous!

Seriously, you are dong a Masters at Oxford? My daughter has better language skills and she's only just done her 11+!

Still, I hope that the survey responses help you enormously rather than endlessly, as that would be a tad frustrating.

If we're critiquing the questions as well, number 5 is pretty dumb, unless I'm missing something and there really are people who ride their bikes constantly.

Hi Luke.

I want to help you and went to fill the survey out.

But i gave up as each question was so open to interpretation that it became meaningless.

You could either consider multi choices as Hawk mentions otherwise your results will be equally meaningless.

Take the first question...all of those things fill up my house, but only one or two of them really shouldn't. then the question on how I get around town. Mostly I use a tube that is funded by my firm so costs me nothing but I also use Boris bikes, a scooter and occasionally taxis.

its frustrating trying to omit so many answers in favour of one that isn't actually that representative either.

sorry.

There is Oxford University, the one that takes part in The Boat Race and Oxford Brooks University, the former polytechnic. I used to know someone who claimed he "went to university at Oxford" when in fact he did an OU course which included a short residential session in Oxford.

Done.
Though one of your questions is 'what floor do you live on?
I live in a House so I live on 2 floors.
Perhaps you want to change the survey to include a house or multi floors.
