Please think about

Please take a few mins of your time to think about my favourite neighbour,George.His wife of 55 years passed away last week.
I only found out late last night.I spent over two hours with him,to pass those lonely hours when dark comes and you have to shut the door and close the curtains.
I have to say there were tears during those couple of hours but also some laughter,so over the coming days and weeks when i go round to sit with him please think of me and him and let me say the right things at the riight time.

It's not what you say or when you say it, but the fact that you care that makes the difference, But yes, I'll think of you, if only to remind myself that the world is filled with kindness and compassion.
