Polygamy?

Did anyone see the Channel 4 programme last night about polygamous famlies in USA?

OH was astounded by the idea. When he was married, he couldn't manage one wife, he says he can't understand how anyone would volunteer to take on two or three at a time!

The programme highlight for me was when one husband took out his two wives for a romantic meal. "Who's up for having the next baby?" he asked. "Pick me!" exclaimed the newest, young enthusiastic wife. "Yeah, pick her" mumbled the origional, less enthusiastic wife, tucking into her burrito.

in my youth i courted with the idea, however i'm now happily married and can't really see myself with anyone else so i'm not fussed. maybe in the next life.

Multiple Wives = Multiple Mother's in Law.

For that reason, i'm out.

There are other 'minor' problems! Two wives will talk more than twice as much as one. When my wife and sister-in-law are together it's a constant double talk as they speak at the same time. It wears me out just trying not to listen to it.
